Meet the Bausum & Duckett Management Team
The Bausum & Duckett management team touts more than 100 years of combined experience. Members of our team are graduates of the Associated Builders and Contractors Association (ABC) program; are certified electricians; and have the expertise and training in specialized areas of the trade to keep Bausum & Duckett up at the forefront of the latest technology and advancements. Our management team remains hands-on, easily accessible, and focused 100% on customer satisfaction.
Mark Llewellyn, President, has been with Bausum & Duckett for more than 30 years. He holds a degree from Association of Building Contractors. In his current position, he oversees residential operations as well as office operations and the service department. His areas of expertise include code compliance and updating; and lighting and communication network wiring systems. In his free time, Mark, married and the father of two older children, enjoys tinkering with his 1967 Mustang, boating, and crabbing, and spending winter weekends at Deep Creek Lake.
Tommy Luc, Sr. Vice President, joined the Bausum & Duckett team in 1985. In his 26 years at Bausum and Duckett, he’s held numerous positions and has well-rounded expertise in all aspects of electrical contracting from service work to residential to commercial. In his current role, Tommy brings his hands-on experience to the management of our commercial construction department—ensuring quality projects, building and managing client relationships, and staying at the forefront of changing technology. Tommy is a Licensed Master Electrician and Certified Green Advantage for Commercial Construction. In his free time, you can usually find Tommy Luc on a field coaching youth soccer or Futsal--when he’s not boating on the Chesapeake Bay or spending time with his five children and two grandkids.
John Dorsey, Sr. Vice President,is a third-generation electrical contractor with 32 years of electrical trade experience. He has graduated from Associated Builders and Contractors Apprenticeship program and has degrees from Perdue and Clemson Universities He joined Bausum & Duckett in 1990 as a foreman and has held several positions since then, including manager and estimator. As a Vice President of the company, John oversees day to day operations for the DelMarVa Division. Even with his added responsibilities, he still enjoys and finds time to manage projects and estimate. John has been married to his wife Nancy for 25 years, and is the father of two college-age daughters. John is also an avid outdoorsman, enjoys off road happenings in the mountains of Colorado and spending time with his grand daughter.
David Dove, Service Manager/Estimator, started with Bausum & Duckett more than 21 years ago and has experience in all aspects of the electrical trade, particularly designing and managing commercial projects and residential additions and renovations. This broad background has given him in-depth expertise and a strong understanding of customer needs for all sizes and types of projects in every department. Specializing and trained in Fire Alarm Systems, PV Solar Systems, and Bausum and Duckett’s exclusive ElectriCare program, David is an invaluable member of the Bausum & Duckett team. When he’s not working and spending time with his family, David enjoys restoring classic cars—you might catch him cruising around town in his 1964 Ford Mustang.
